Canadian Embassy not recruiting workers
In a statement released 21 October 2008, the Canadian Embassy in Manila stressed that it does not engage in recruitment or job-matching services:
“The Visa office at the Canadian Embassy in Manila is not involved in employment recruitment."
"Our role is to assess and finalize completed visa and immigration applications submitted to us in order to issue visas to successful applicants. We do not provide a job-matching service to workers or to Canadian companies, and all applicants who apply to go to Canada as temporary foreign workers are responsible for finding their own valid employment in Canada before submitting their application to us."
